Kelly Fagundes

Master of Physical Therapy

Kelly is the owner of and licensed physical therapist at EVOLVE Physical Therapy.  She has 17 years of clinical experience in physical therapy.  Her main focus has been outpatient orthopedics and she has also practiced in home health and inpatient settings.  This has provided a unique understanding of the entire continuum of physical therapy care. Having recognized a need in the Door County community for private physical therapy services, Kelly has combined her passion and clinical skills to open EVOLVE Physical Therapy.

Kelly feels passionate about helping people restore function, eliminate pain, and achieve well being in all aspects of their life.  She strives to truly understand the cause of each patient’s symptoms and then address the root cause.  Focusing on wellness is an integral part of Kelly's treatment philosophy, and she achieves this by treating the whole person.

Kelly is a graduate of Saint Louis University where she earned the degrees of B.S. in Exercise Science (2001) and Master of Physical Therapy (2004).  Her extensive outpatient experience also includes aquatic physical therapy.  Raised in the Chicago suburbs, Kelly has worked in Chicago, Madison and St. Louis before planting roots in Door County, WI in 2010.  Relocating has provided the advantage to work and train with various highly reputable medical networks in the Midwest.

She is a lifelong athlete and fitness devotee;  playing competitive sports during her youth and developing into an endurance athlete as an adult. She was a member of her collegiate road cycling team and has run multiple marathons and half-marathons all over the country.

You will often find Kelly running the scenic back roads of Door County or enjoying a fitness class at the YMCA.  She also volunteers with multiple local non-profits, loves to cook, spend time on the water, read, traipse thru forests with her two golden retrievers, and wander the globe with her husband and two children.
